Constructive Interference is an independent research initiative based in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Our mission
We re-envision how people can co-exist with information technology in their everyday lives via sociotechnical environments that center human agency, attention, and well-being.
Our approach
We develop and highlight interventions that help individuals and communities:
- Consensually establish social norms around the everyday use of digital information technology
- Design objects and curate spaces to foster intentional relationships with technology in daily life.
To support these goals in practice, we research and experiment with real-world interventions; produce articles and interviews; and organize participatory events on relevant topics.
Who we are
This initiative is a passion project started by Adina Spertus and Eduard Saakashvili in June 2025.
