Critical theories of machine learning (Summer 2025)

Over the course of five sessions, the Critical Theories of Machine Learning reading group explores various angles from which the critical humanities can shed light on machine intelligence and its place in society.

Our readings draw on fields like film and media studies, science and technology studies (STS), cultural studies, and literary theory.
